The ‘Forgotten Child’ explored the non-domesticated behavior and the forgotten instincts of adults. Adults believe that preschoolers behave disruptively and unruly. On the other hand, their behavior is not conditioned by social rules, they are free to express emotions in a way that adults feel ashamed to do anymore. So whether we have been too domesticated to show our emotions to others during growing up; whether some instincts about emotions have been masked in the adult upbringing?
